MiTchell Babka

Vice president, INTRAMURALs
Intramurals@gothamgators.com

Mitchell comes from a family of Gators, with four other members of his family attending the University of Florida. Born in Tampa Bay but raised on Gator Football (and at just a few months old nearly falling off his mother’s lap as we beat Florida State in “The Greatest Game Ever Played In The Swamp”), Mitchell has been lucky enough to spend 6 years at UF and earn 2 degrees from the University of Florida.

During his time at the University of Florida Mitchell spent time as a Teaching Assistant in the Economics Department and spent two years as an Honors Ambassador. When he wasn’t doing school work, you would likely find him at one of our home games cheering on our gator athletes.

Mitchell graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and his Masters of Economics in 2022. After a pit stop in Richmond Virginia to earn his Masters of Sports Management at VCU, he moved to New York City in the fall of 2023 to work in sports software.

In his free time Mitchell enjoys immersing himself in stories (tv shows, movies, books, etc.), exercising, traveling, and finding the best hidden food gems the city has to offer!

Mitchell looks forward to helping foster the Gator Alumni community in New York City through intramurals and outdoor activities.
