The Gotham Gators will be watching both Gator Football and Basketball games at various bars in and around New York City! This page contains ALL the information that you will need regarding Gotham Gator Viewing.

Basketball Viewing Parties
Enjoy all the benefits mentioned above without the headache of reservations! Tables are first-come, first-served at Sidebar. Join fellow Gators as we cheer the Gator basketball team to victory.

We gather for above select games throughout the season, and ALL games during the SEC and NCAA tournaments at Sidebar.
SideBAR shows EVERY UF game on their tvs and guests may also request to have them set to any tv they prefer.

Football Viewing Parties
Due to popular demand, the Gotham Gators now offer 6 different Football Viewing Party venues in the New York Metro Area. Details on each venue, including drink specials and directions are below.
The Gin Mill (Upper West Side)
The Gin Mill is our primary viewing location for all Gotham Gator Viewing Parties. The Gin Mill is located at 442 Amsterdam Avenue, practically at the northwest corner of Amsterdam and 81st Street on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The Gin Mill is an old sports bar that at least one college football fanatic thinks is reminiscent of the Purple Porpoise...god rest its soul! Please join us as we cheer the Gators to victory!
Specials for Gators during all viewing parties include:
- $8 Pitchers of Domestic beer ($10 for night games)
- $12 Pitchers of Imported beer
- $15 Pitchers of Premium Imported beer
- $3, $3.50 and $4 pints of Domestic, Imported and Premium Imported beer
- $4 "Gator Bombs"
- $3 well shots
- $3 "Gator Shot" (Southern Comfort with a splash of lime)
NOTE: Upstairs bar stools and the entire downstairs bar will be available first come, first serve. Doors at the Gin Mill will typically open one hour before kickoff to access all the non-reserved seating. The Gin Mill will no longer have their own waiting list for unclaimed tables. We will now be offering an online waiting list for all members who were unable to reserve a table on their first try. Sidebar (Union Square)
A stone's throw from Union Square, SideBar is very convenient for any Gotham Gator! The bar is beautiful, there are too many T.V.'s to count, and of course, Zach will be there to lead the Gator Cheers! Please join our newest Gotham Gator bar, Sidebar, this football season, easily located next to Union Square, with the following drink specials:

- $25 Buckets of Domestic Beer
- $30 Buckets of Imported Beer
- Free hour Bud Light Open Bar for day games - come to start an hour and a half before kickoff.

Bob Hyland's Sports Page Pub (White Plains/Westchester County)
For those Gators near White Plains, please join us at Bob Hyland's!
In 2011, it was named the county's best sport's bar by Westchester Magazine for the 12th time. It has 47 flat screen TVs and a large projection screen in the back room. Our viewing party will be located in the private back room. Also, it is steps away from Metro North, so everyone can enjoy the party!
Football viewing party specials include:

New Jersey Gators
We are still in the process of confirming a viewing location for select games in New Jersey. If you are interested in being a gameday point person, please e-mail President@gothamgators.com
In the meantime, Village Pourhouse Hoboken is Gator Friendly!
Village Pourhouse Hoboken is affiliated with our SideBAR, NY location and will have the game on for all Gator Fans! *Please note, sound TBD based on number of Gator fans at the bar.
If you plan to catch a game at Village Pourhouse Hoboken and know in advance, please e-mail President@gothamgators.com so we can let the bar know to expect you.

Football Viewing Party Reservations (Football Parties Only)
Exclusive Right to Paid Members: Only paid UFAA/Gotham Gators are able to reserve a limited number of tables at the above locations for Gator Football Viewing parties. Reservation requests are limited to a maximum of 4 people per paid UFAA/Gotham Gator. Tables are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you have ever been to a Gator Football viewing party at any of these locations, you know that it gets pretty crowded! So, between reservations and advanced admission, many have come to realize that membership has its benefits.
The portal will open at 12:00 AM EST the Monday before each game and will close at 1:00 PM EST on Thursday or when capacity has been reached.
Only one RSVP request may be submitted per event, and once you have submitted your request you cannot make any changes.
If your reservation is accepted, you will receive a confirmation that your request was received. The bars will do their best to accommodate requests, but no promises can be made. Once you arrive your viewing location, please either look for your name on the tables or ask a member of the staff where your table is located. Gotham Gator officers will not know the location of your reserved table.
Don't Lose Your Seat! The goal here is to have everyone seated and served BEFORE kickoff. Unless at least half your party shows up to claim your reserved table BY THIRTY MINUTES BEFORE KICK-OFF, your table will be given to other patrons who are waiting / standing nearby. There is simply just too much demand to hold tables any longer than this. Arrive early and there should be no problem!
