Gotham Gator Scholarship Program

Gotham Gator scholarships are made possible with help from alumni and friends. Historically we have raised monies through raffles at our viewing parties, award money from our successful intramural sports programs and of course individual donations from alumni and friends like yourself.

Each year the club sponsors New York area graduating high school seniors choosing to attend the University of Florida. We have embarked on a mission to raise enough money to endow a scholarship with the University in the name of the Gotham Gators. This would create a program that would serve to influence NY area students with superior academics and community service to attend the University of Florida for many years to come.

We have set an ambitious first year fundraising goal of $5,000 and ask for your generous support to help us meet this goal. You will notice below that the new "2 Bits" Scholarship Program has several different levels of giving, one that should suit anyone’s budget. So please support us however you can, and remember, everyone can afford at least 2 Bits!

Gotham Gator Summer in the City Scholarship Program

All Gators interning in the NYC Metro Area for Summer 2012 are encouraged to apply to the Gotham Gator Summer in the City Scholarship.  The Gotham Gator Club board will award a scholarship to University of Florida students who clearly demonstrate exceptional academic achievement as well as professional promise and a commitment to community service.  Consideration will be given for the additional financial burden on those who have unpaid internships, but all Gator interns are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be interning for college credit.
