Member at Large - Brian Holyfield

Brian is a Florida native, who was born and raised in West Palm Beach. He spent his entire life living in South Florida until moving to Gainesville to attend the UF after graduating high school. Thankfully, Brian resisted the peer pressure to become a Miami Hurricanes fan while growing up in South Florida...something that many Gator fans who grew up in South Florida cannot say. Brian fell in love with the University of Florida and Gainesville while in high school when he went to visit his older sister Amy, a fellow Gator, during Gator Growl.

All it took was one Gator Growl visit to realize that Gainesville was where he wanted to spend his college years. While attending the University of Florida, Brian joined Pi Lambda Phi fraternity and graduated with a Masters Degree in Accounting and Information Systems Auditing. After graduation, Brian moved back to South Florida where he began working for the Security and Technology Solutions practice of Ernst & Young, LLP. In 2002, Brian took the plunge and moved up to New York City to take a position at the Rudolph W. Giuliani Advanced Security Center. Brian has since left the Advanced Security Center and is a co-founder of a digital security consulting firm based in New York City.

Brian enjoys hanging out with friends, working with computers, spending time with his Italian Greyhound, and is a die-hard Seinfeld fan. He has also been religiously attending Gator games at the Gin Mill since he moved to New York City. Effective Spring 2004, Brian became the VP of Technology for the Gotham Gators. As the VP of Technology, one of Brian's primary responsibilities is maintaining the Gotham Gators website. So...if you see Brian at the Gin Mill or any Gotham Gator event, feel free to voice your comments and suggestions about this website...and feel free to put his Seinfeld trivia knowledge to the test as well!
