Gotham Gator "2 Bits" Scholarship Program

Gotham Gator scholarships are made possible with help from alumni and friends. Historically we have raised monies through raffles at our viewing parties, award money from our successful intramural sports programs and of course individual donations from alumni and friends like yourself.

Each year the club sponsors multiple $500 scholarships to New York area graduating high school seniors choosing to attend the University of Florida. We have embarked on a mission to raise enough money to endow a scholarship with the University in the name of the Gotham Gators. This would create a program that would serve to influence NY area students with superior academics and community service to attend the University of Florida for many years to come.

We have set an ambitious first year fundraising goal of $5,000 and ask for your generous support to help us meet this goal. You will notice below that the new "2 Bits" Scholarship Program has several different levels of giving, one that should suit anyone’s budget. So please support us however you can, and remember, everyone can afford at least 2 Bits!

Applications

Applications for the freshman class of 2006 are now being accepted. The scholarship application deadline for the freshman class of 2006 is June 30, 2006. Do you know a friend, neighbor or relative that would be a good candidate for the "2 Bits" Scholarship Program? Please refer them to our website and encourage them to apply.
