Coleen Monplaisir

VP- Events

Coleen was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and moved to Florida at the age of 12. She became a Florida Gator in 2007 where she pursued a degree in Sociology. Her passion to study the development and structure of different human societies lead her to study abroad in Port Elizabeth, South Africa for an entire semester while at UF. She participated in various campus activities such as the Caribbean Student Association and founded her own non-profit called Books for the Caribbean.

After graduating from UF in 2012 with a B.A. in Sociology from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Coleen moved to NYC with her then fiancé, Andy. She currently works at an investment bank in Manhattan where she organizes investor interest meetings at various hotels in the city. In her multi-functional role she is also an executive assistant. 

Coleen loves traveling and spending time with her husband, Andy, and their Morkie in her free time! Go Gators!!!
