Betsy Connors The University of Florida was the only school that Betsy applied to, so it was a huge relief when she was accepted for Fall 2003 admission. Born in the Midwest and then transported to the South Florida suburbs at age 5, she has always had a soft spot in her heart for big cities - none more than New York. Graduating from UF in 2007 with a B.S. in Advertising (and three national championships), Betsy worked in advertising agencies in South Florida for 3 years before quitting her job to follow her dream of living and working in NYC. A Manhattanite since early 2010, Betsy currently works in marketing for Taste of Home Media, the #1 food and entertaining brand in the country, where she combines her love of media and passion for cooking. On her weekends she can be found sitting in Central Park with friends, going to 11am movies or at the Gin Mill cheering for the Gators.
